> Assesses and measures the buying organization’s emotional, political and rational readiness to undertake the sourcing/procurement initiative prior to engaging vendors/suppliers. The outcome of the assessment will help the organization prepare itself for change by ensuring that:

1. Business issues and business cases are understood and validated
2. Authorization for work has been approved
3. Funding is approved and resources are committed
4. Key stakeholders are aligned, and ready and clear roles and responsibilities are established.
